Essential Albums: All albums from The Stone Roses, The Verve, Oasis, Joy Division, Marion (highly underrated Manchester band), Pulp (everything after and including His'n'hers), Ian Brown (all the solo albums are excellent), Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The La's, The Killers, Depeche Mode (from Violator on), Spiritualized, "Melting Pot" from The Charlatans, "The Bends" from Radiohead, "In It For The Money" from Supergrass, "Grand Prix" from Teenage Fanclub, Suede (first two albums are pretty good, and the third was solid as well), Kasabian, Interpol, plus the standard greats (The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, The Small Faces, The Beach Boys, Neil Young)
